This decision marks a significant escalation, as the Advanced Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) was previously restricted for use solely within Ukraine's borders. The change comes shortly after thousands of North Korean soldiers were reportedly deployed in Moscow, likely in support of Russia. Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump has claimed he will end the war shortly after taking office, a sentiment echoed by Ukrainian President Zelensky, who suggested the conflict would conclude sooner under Trump’s leadership.

The lifting of restrictions on ATACMS and increased global tensions amplify the risk of further conflict, raising concerns about the potential for World War III.
What does this mean for Bitcoin?

Bitcoin, being a relatively young asset, has experienced only a few significant geopolitical events. When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Bitcoin briefly dropped by 10% before recovering. Instead, this may signal a short-term peak for Bitcoin, giving it time to consolidate before resuming its upward movement.

Despite these concerns, it is too early to be bearish. Bitcoin is approaching the $100,000 milestone and remains supported by a variety of bullish factors, including the emergence of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, the arrival of a new SEC chair, increasing institutional demand, and a strong technical structure. These elements suggest the current market cycle is far from over, and any short-term bearish signals are outweighed by the longer-term bullish narrative. Additionally, retail investors have not yet fully entered the market, reinforcing the idea that we are still in the early stages of this bull run. Now is not the time to hesitate but rather to prepare for continued growth.

While Bitcoin has moved sideways recently, some altcoins have been outperforming significantly. Sui has continued to reach new all-time highs and is now trading just under $4. Bitcoin has reclaimed $91k, positioning itself to retest its current all-time high and potentially push higher. We are now less than 10% away from a six-figure Bitcoin. According to Polymarket, BTC has a 42% chance of reaching $100k by the end of November. While the odds may not heavily favor $100k before December, the current price structure suggests otherwise. Bitcoin recently established another higher low after experiencing a brief pullback over the past couple of days.

Last Monday, Bitcoin traded at $80k throughout the day. By the next morning, it had surged to $88k, marking a quick 10% rally overnight. Recent price action has been particularly significant. Instead of continuing directly to $100k after breaking above $93k, Bitcoin has undergone a slight pullback and consolidation, further strengthening its bullish price structure. If a new all-time high is achieved over the weekend, it could set the stage for a push to $100k before the end of the month.

The broader market is benefiting from Bitcoin's rally, with 95% of the top 100 altcoins outperforming BTC. Memecoins continue to dominate, with three of the top five gainers being GOAT, BRETT, and BONK. Meanwhile, SUI has continued its impressive run, reaching new all-time highs and officially doubling in value since our first mention in the Morning Note.

Rune has been consolidating around $5.50, a level that has proven to be strong support over the past week. Last Sunday, Rune rebounded 20%, jumping from this level to $6.70. With Bitcoin's current strength and position, Rune could see another bounce if BTC continues to move higher.

After reaching an all-time high of $93.2k on Wednesday, Bitcoin has since dropped 5.55%. The broader market shows mixed results: while most altcoins are down, Sui stands out, pushing to higher prices and fresh all-time highs. Memecoins continue to dominate the sector, with MOG, WIF, PEPE, and GOAT setting all-time highs. Notably, PNUT rocketed into the top 100, flipping POPCAT and now ranks as the 64th largest cryptocurrency just two weeks post-launch.
The market's mixed performance confirms that we are still some distance from altseason. Bitcoin dominance remains strong, holding above 60% and showing signs of further increase. The altcoin season index indicates whether or not we are in altseason. Altseason is typically defined as when 75% of the top 50 cryptocurrencies outperform Bitcoin over the last 90 days. Until that threshold is met, Bitcoin is expected to continue dominating the market. Over the past four years, once the index surpasses 75%, altcoins tend to outperform Bitcoin only briefly, usually for 1-2 months. Currently, just 33% of the top 50 cryptocurrencies are outperforming Bitcoin, suggesting we are still far from altseason.

After dropping to $85k the previous day, Bitcoin has surged to a new all-time high of $93.2k overnight. While Bitcoin gained 10% from its Tuesday low and set another record, most altcoins saw pullbacks exceeding 15% from their recent highs. This price action has been crucial in establishing a clearer price structure for Bitcoin.

The rally in Bitcoin, alongside altcoin pullbacks, has driven Bitcoin dominance back above 61%, its highest level since March 2021. Dominance is likely to keep rising as Bitcoin’s momentum shows no signs of slowing against altcoins. Although some altcoins have performed comparably or even better than Bitcoin, such as Sui and Dogecoin, which have rebounded from their own pullbacks to hit new highs, it’s the tier-two meme coins that are leading the charge.

PEPE, WIF, and MOG have seen impressive gains of 50%, 30%, and 30% respectively. Following Dogecoin’s 300% rally over the past week, these coins have taken off, each reaching new all-time highs. PEPE’s recent listing on Robinhood marks another bridge between traditional finance and crypto. And let’s not forget the recent rise of ‘PNUT,’ a memecoin created in memory of the beloved “Peanut” squirrel. PNUT has surged 440% in one day after being listed on Binance, reaching a market cap of $2.2 billion within two weeks of its release. This exemplifies the importance of community in the crypto space—a coin can have all the qualities it wants, but without strong community support, it won’t thrive.

If it stays above this level and the confirmed higher low of $86.1k, we should see another attempt at a new high.

ETH recently bounced off a key level of $3,117 but now faces resistance from the moving averages. To resume a bullish trend, ETH must break above $3,230 and see the 21 EMA cross back over the 55 EMA.

Bitcoin continued its rally, reaching a new all-time high for the seventh consecutive day. However, the past 24 hours weren’t entirely smooth for the crypto market. BTC dipped to a low of $85.2k overnight, with most altcoins declining by over 10%. For example, Sui presented a buying opportunity at $2.83 and quickly recovered over 15% to trade above $3.20. Similarly, Dogecoin surged yesterday, gaining as much as 35% to reach $0.44 before pulling back to $0.38—potentially offering a buying opportunity for those willing to buy the dip.

These quick dips are not uncommon in bull markets. Prices often rally 30-40% over a week and then experience a 10% pullback, which can serve as an opportunity to add to positions. Don’t be discouraged by buying at higher prices; for instance, Dogecoin was $0.30 a week ago, then surged to $0.45, with potential for further gains. Bull markets are times when you “buy high and sell higher.” This isn’t the time to be passive or cautious—embrace these dips as chances to be proactive.

It currently trades just above the 21 EMA. Expect this level to hold, with $90k acting as resistance.
